This year students will receive a higher sum for their subsidized student meals, the Minister of Education and Science Vesna Janevska said on Friday in Shtip, adding that they plan to increase the sum for subsidized student meals, although the correct sum is still unknown, because it all depends on the funds available from the Budget.
“As for the student standard, the students should have no doubt that the Ministry will be their constant collaborator, partner and supporter, in fact it will be their greatest supporter, so here I am sending them a message that – yes, we are thinking about raising the sum for student meals. We entered into a project to renovate the student dormitories so that they have better living and studying conditions, and the fact is that the capacities are slightly reduced, but we are trying to solve this by redirecting some of the students to usable student dormitories and let’s make sure that the maximum number of students get beds so that they can live normally in the cities where they will study,” said Janevska.
