Education and Science Minister Vesna Janevska stated that young people are a priority of this Government, and this means that their voice is heard during the creation of policies.
“The university student assembly presented us with three demands, two of which we accepted immediately. Thus, students who are enrolling in their first year this year can apply for a student meal until September 5. I invite all freshmen who hope to acquire the student status, to use this deadline and apply,” said Minister Janevska, in response to a media question after the visit to the “Ljuben Lape” elementary school in the Aerodrom Municipality.
With changes in the Rulebook on the method and procedure for funding, creation and improvement of scientific and research staff, the Ministry of Education and Science will prevent the discrimination that students of integrated studies of 3+2 years, who could not apply for scholarships, had until now for the second cycle of studies.
