Zoo team frees a trapped bear

A Skopje Zoo team in cooperation with the Hunting Inspector released an adult, female brown bear caught in a wild boar trap. As the Crisis Management Center (CMC) informs, the bear was freed from a cable around its chest in the Pijane area near Debarski Banji.

“The Skopje Zoo team together with the Hunting Inspector went to the location, with a special means they put the scared bear to sleep which was caught with a cable around the chest, freed it from the trap and cleaned the wounds from the cable which were not big. After regaining consciousness from the intoxicant, the bear left,” said the CMC.
