In the second quarter of 2024, a total of 10,686 thousand passengers were transported in passenger road transport, which is a decrease of 15.1% in relation to the same period last year, the State Statistics Office (SSO) said on Monday.
According to the type of transport, the number of passengers in city transport dropped by 14.5%, in suburban transport by 16.5%, in intercity transport by 9.9%, and in international transport by 30.3%.
In the second quarter of 2024, compared to the same period of 2023, the total number of passenger kilometers in road passenger transport dropped by 19.5%.
