The new MEPSO management team takes all the necessary actions to determine all possible irregularities in the work of the previous management. As for the way in which funds were donated from the MEPSO budget, we found a situation where they were distributed without appropriate criteria, the state-owned company said in a press release on Wednesday.
“The previous management of the company in the last months of the position “managed” to exceed the financial program for this year for this purpose by about 10 million Macedonian denars. This is one of the many reasons why we requested a comprehensive audit. The public has the right to know how the funds from all budget programs were spent, but we appeal for patience while the competent institutions act,” said the company.
