The educational process for the wards of the Tetovo Correctional Home will not start this year either. Just like last year, these children will not sit down in their school desks and learn on the first day of school. There is no project this year, and the legal amendments needed to formalize the process have not been adopted.
Immediately before the beginning of the new school year, the Administration for the Execution of Sanctions answered the question of how the wards of the Tetovo Correctional Home will be educated this year, that they asked the Ministry of Education and Science to organize and finance the education. Education Minister Vesna Janevska told the media that it was expected to happen soon through the amendments to the Law on Adult Education, while the Ombudsman urged for a solution to the problem because the consequences would be irreparable.
