SONK will not take part in any party-organized protests, says SONK president Jakim Nedelkov, after SDSM called teachers to protest in front of the Ministry of Education and Science on Monday.
“In times of intense negotiations to find a solution and means to raise the social status of employees in education, the action of political parties and assuming the role of trade unions, refers to the purchase of minor political points and could have the opposite effect.
Political parties had and have the opportunity to prove how concerned they are about teachers, and they know how to evaluate it best.
SONK members will not take part in any party-organized protests and will strictly watch out for the interference of politics in the union,” said Nedelkov on Saturday.
