Crisis Management Center (CMC) director Stojanche Angelov, who went to the “Dare Dzambaz” mountain lodge at Vodno where a fire broke out Sunday morning, informed that a pole was set on fire near the children’s resort, and an hour later the mountain lodge was also set on fire. The glass of the shop at the top of Vodno was also broken.
“This was vandalism in at least three places. From what I could personally observe, the fire was started outside the Home from a pile of trash or wood that had been set on fire. According to the statements of the first eyewitnesses, the fire spread to the wooden window frame of the mountain lodge,” said Angelov.
The report of a burning pole on the middle of Vodno was received around 7:20 am, and an hour later the report of the mountain lodge.
“On the spot, they noticed that in addition to the burned home, the glass of the shop was also broken,” said Angelov.
