The coordinating political body of the ‘Worth It’ coalition held a working meeting Sunday where several issues were discussed.
“The coordinating political body of the ‘Worth It’ coalition, without intending to interfere in the work of the Constitutional Court, evaluates their initiative to evaluate the constitutionality of the Law on the Use of Languages as dangerous and unacceptable. We believe that this initiative, which comes from forces known for their anti-NATO views, is nothing more than an attempted coup d’état with legal experiments. If such an initiative is accepted, Pandora’s box will be opened for all the key achievements of the country, including the change of the constitutional name, which was also carried out without the signature of the then-President Gjorge Ivanov, which enabled membership in NATO. Such an act would threaten the stability and sovereignty of the Republic of North Macedonia, seriously threatening its Euro-Atlantic orientation. The ‘Worth It’ coalition will decisively and without compromises defend the integrity of the state institutions and the interests of the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia, standing firm against any attempt to disrupt the country’s Euro-Atlantic path,” reads the press release.
