The Ministry of Interior (MoI) will respond to every challenge it faces, within its competences, said Macedonian Interior Minister Panche Toshkovski. According to him, the security situation in the country is not threatened to such an extent that there is a need to convene the Security Council.
“The Ministry of Interior will respond to every single challenge it faces within the framework of its competences. We have shown so far that we can face all challenges and solve them accordingly, so it will be in the future as well. In the past period there was information about riots. Will we deal with them”, said the minister.
Regarding the question of convening the Security Council, Toshkovski responded that ‘he supports the position of President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova because at this moment there is no need for it’.
