According to the weekly report of the Institute of Public Health in the period between March 8 and March 14, 2021, a total of 22,625 samples were tested in laboratories in which molecular testing and antigen testing for the presence of SARS-CoV-2 is performed, with an increase of 7.3 percent compared to the previous week, and 5,456 new positive cases were registered in 34 cities in the country with an increase of 22.2 percent compared to the previous seven-day period.
129 deaths were reported in 21 cities, which is 2.3 times more than last week.
Most of the new COVID-19 cases were registered in Skopje.
