At the joint liturgy in the Cathedral in Skopje, Patriarch Porfirij extended tomos for autocephaly in the Ecumenical Patriarchate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric.
“Thanks to your prayers we have established unity, and now brothers and sisters we bring you another joy – the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church unanimously in anticipation of the request of the Macedonian Orthodox Church – Ohrid Archbishopric, the Synod of our Church blesses and recognizes MOC- OA,” said Serbian Patriarch Porfirij.
