Minister Hoxha unveils five modules of Green Digital Transformation project

Macedonian Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Muamet Hoxha unveiled at a press conference Wednesday five modules of the Green Digital Transformation project, which represents a new value system. Hoxha pointed out that digitalization is not merely software; rather, it serves as a political tool for justice, essentially, digitalization acts as a form of uncompromising transparency.

“The first module is Green Transformation through Digitalization. This involves a digital platform where one can view all the projects being implemented by the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning (MEPP). The second module, Green Transformation through Digitalization – Core, entails internal digitalization within the MEPP, specifically, the digitalization of the archives and the spatial information system. The third module Green Transition through Digitalization – Time falls within the scope of the Government’s reform agenda; the fourth module, Green Transition through Digitalization – Land, is a digital platform designed to map illegal landfills across all municipalities; while the fifth module, Green Transition through Digitalization – Air, requires all entities holding an ‘A’ Integrated Environmental Permit to input their emissions data in accordance with the criteria specified in their issued permits,” said Minister Hoxha.

The Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning announced that all the modules will be presented in further detail at dedicated press conferences.
