EU remains a strategic priority for Macedonia, says Deputy PM Nikoloski

Macedonian Deputy Prime Minister AleksandarNikoloski held a working meeting Monday with Members of the European Parliament during the 25th meeting of the EU-Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee. The discussions focused on the country’s European integration, the reform process, and the steps ahead on the path to full European Union membership.

The meeting addressed the current situation and Macedonia’s progress in meetingrequirements, as well as the importance of continuing reforms in key areas related to the EU accession process.

Deputy PMNikoloski outlined the specific measures the Government is taking to advance reforms, strengthen institutions, and create conditions to accelerate European integration.

It was noted during the meeting that the European perspective remains a strategic priority for the country, and that maintaining an open dialogue with European institutions is of particular importance for the country’s continued progress.
