VMRO-DPMNE spokesperson ValentinManasievskitold Alfa TV that he would not accede to the demand for an apology from former SDSM Minister of Agriculture LjupchoNikolovski, who had requested an apology regarding Manasievski’s statements.
Manasievski emphasized that he refused to apologize because, as he said, his remarks concerned specific issues related to commodity reserves.
The ruling party spokesperson also raised the issue of the expert medical report obtained by Nikolovski, which included an opinion from Dr. StojanBajraktarov, an SDSM member and multiple-time donor to the party, issued precisely during the time LjupchoNikolovski served as the party’s Secretary-General.
“There are direct indications here that something might have been staged, and I asked LjupchoNikolovski about this at today’s press conference. I asked whether Dr. StojanBajraktarov had perhaps prepared a false report on the matter at LjupchoNikolovski’s request. We are talking about repeated monetary donations—though I cannot say right now whether the amounts were large or small. Nevertheless, it happened multiple times, and precisely during the period when Nikolovski was the party’s Secretary General and a member of the SDS; it was during a government session where directors of state clinics were being selected, and with his vote, along with those of the other government members, the doctor became the director of the Psychiatry Clinic,” Manasievski pointed out.
