A 14-year-old boy was stabbed and severely beaten in a brutal assault that occurred on June 22 in the Skopje’s Chento, 24info reports.
According to his family, he was assaulted for no reason by three people while walking towards Finska Street.
The assailants first beat him up, and then one of the suspects stabbed him seven times in the back. After the assault, the boy was left unconscious until a passerby found him and called the emergency services and police.
The injured minor was urgently transferred to the Emergency Center, where he underwent surgery. The family demands a quick clarification of the case and the finding of the perpetrators.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) confirms that the case has been reported and that measures are being taken to clear it up.
“On June 22, 2026, the Skopje PD received a report that in the Gazi Baba area, a minor was physically assaulted by three people, one of whom injured him with a sharp object. Measures are being taken to solve the case.,” reads the police press release.
