The Macedonian Ministry of Finance said Tuesday that the Eurobond issued in 2020, with a total value of €700 million, has been fully repaid. Today, a payment of €327.9 million was made (€316.3 million for the principal and €11.6 million in interest), thereby completing in full the servicing of the obligations related to this Eurobond.
“With a payment of €327.9 million, we have fully repaid the €700 million Eurobond issued in 2020. It is part of the liabilities that we, as the Ministry of Finance, regularly and timely service. In the second half of 2024, after we took power, we repaid liabilities in the amount of €786 million. During 2025, €2.198 billion were paid and during 2026, €1.571 billion, which in total for this entire period amounts to €4.556 billion,” said Minister of Finance Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska.
