Another four people from Debar have tested positive for coronavirus, Health Minister Venko Filipce confirmed at today’s press briefing. A state of emergency will be declared in Debar and Centar Zupa.

– The condition of the first patient from Debar is deteriorating. She might require mechanical ventilation – said Filipce.

The Skopje Airport control has registered increased body temperature with a passenger from Germany, a Macedonian citizen.

“He and the passengers sitting next to and around him have been isolated. Samples are taken from all of them and the results are pending,” Filipce said.

“As of today, the ban for entry of foreign nationals into the country arriving from high risk countries affected by the coronavirus is fully respected in line with the government decision, reached yesterday,” he said.
