True friends are known in the most difficult times, and Macedonia has friends.
Thanks to Hungary and to the entire Hungarian people who demonstrate humanity in
such difficult times and share the help that is welcome for those who are in the
forefront of the fight against this pandemic, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski
said at Monday’s press conference.
Mickoski thanked Hungary and the Hungarian people for ‘being humanitarian and
sending aid to those who need it the most and are in the front line in the fight against
the coronavirus.’ He also expressed gratitude to both PM Viktor Orban and Minister
Szijjártó.
“In times when borders are closed, this is the first official visit by an official of a EU
member in these times of crisis. My gratitude also for the swift reaction of the
Hungarian government. Last week, I told them we needed help and today we are
receiving it,” Mickoski told a news conference in Skopje alongside Szijjártó.
