The government plans to take out yet another loan which, of course, falls on the backs of Macedonian citizens.

The official website of the National Bank of the Republic of Macedonia published an auction of government securities and bonds in the amount of EUR 60 million.
With such borrowing, the government is leaving a heavy burden, and whether a budget crisis is imminent will yet be demonstrated.

Last week, the government borrowed 48 million euros.

Experts warn of the enormous indebtedness that follows this government, especially due to the lack of capital investments, infrastructure and strategic projects.

Public debt has gone over the roof, i.e. the psychological limit of over 50% of GDP, which according to economists is a dangerous fact, especially for a weak economy such as the Macedonian.
