According to initial unofficial data from the electronic entry of the SEC, the coalition
"We can" led by SDSM has 36.12 percent of the vote, while VMRO-DPMNE 34.85
percent.
DUI with 11.3 percent is in third place ahead of the Alliance for Albanians and the
Alternativa with 8.52 percent, followed by the biggest surprise in these elections –
Levica with 4.17 percent. DPA won 1.51 percent and Integra 1.36 percent.
According to this simulation, SDSM would have 46 seats, VMRO-DPMNE 44, DUI
15, the Alliance for Albanians and the Alternativa 12, Levica 2 and DPA 1.
The preliminary results of the elections are still only occasionally visible on the
website of the State Election Commission, which has been out of order since last
night due to, as the head of the Commission Oliver Derkovski said, external hacker
attacks.
