As an official in charge of implementing the Code of Ethics, and in accordance with my competencies at the next government session, in accordance with Article 22 of the Code of Ethics, I will request a resignation or dismissal order from the competent Board of Directors of the head of National Agency for European Educational Programs and Mobility Lidija Dimova, said Deputy Prime Minister in charge of fight against corruption and crime, sustainable development and human resources Ljupco Nikolovski, in last night’s interview on “Click Plus” on TV21.
“If Dimova does not resign, because that is the job of the Management Board of the National Agency, I will ask for her to be dismissed.
We are at the beginning of negotiations with the EU, we open all the funds, we are facing great challenges and that is why the law must apply to everyone, no one is untouchable. Of course, there is a presumption of innocence, but the Code of Ethics, the implementation of which I am in charge of, and which covers the members of the Government and the elected officials, also provides for sanctions, as well as the submission of political and moral responsibility. With this dismissal, we want to send a message to everyone that we are really ready to fight corruption, that we do not have double standards, we have received great honor and responsibility from the citizens, which we must justify,” said Deputy Prime Minister Nikolovski.
