Prime Minister Zoran Zaev put the citizens of the country before a final act, and the Macedonians before the choice whether to distance themselves or Macedonia to stop all progress towards the European Union by not negotiating with Brussels, said VMRO-DPMNE Vice President Aleksandar Nikoloski, and added that at such a time the Government should resign and the formation of a government of national unity should be considered.

Asked about Bulgaria’s position to block the start of Macedonia’s negotiations with the European Union, Nikoloski said “I am disappointed and bitter. However, hope dies last, but there is not much of it left.”
