Republic of N. Macedonia is sending economic advisors abroad, who will be in charge of representing the country’s economic interest and building a new brand to attract the international business community, said Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani at Thursday’s press conference.

“The new concept of economic diplomacy will be based on sustainable and clear strategy for our economic relations with foreign countries,” Osmani said, adding they included export-oriented potentials, available workforce, capacities, land and other resources for foreign investments.

“Economic diplomats will be sent to the countries considered as having real potential for increasing economic cooperation. It means countries having the potential to invest here, countries in the vicinity or those having economic and geographic interest to invest, etc,” Osmani told reporters.
