Nationwide state of crisis could be declared by Friday evening at the latest, said Prime Minister Zoran Zaev after the Security Council at Thursday’s session proposed that the government declare state of crisis lasting 30 days.
“Currently we have declared a state of crisis on the northern and southern borders in connection with the illegal crossing of migrants and refugees and in those areas the army and the police work together. Now, such cooperation, after the declaration of a state of crisis, will be enabled on virtually the entire territory of the country,” said Pendarovski.
This is the first time a crisis situation has been declared on the entire territory of Macedonia.
