Economic measures to support the economy and reduce the harmful consequences of the crisis need to have continuity because only in this way can maintain economic activity of as many legal entities and avoid job losses, said the Association of Chambers of Commerce of Macedonia.
“Discontinuity in the provision of support can lead to a reduction in the effects achieved and a slowdown in the exit from the crisis. Improper implementation or premature termination of economic measures can cause serious negative effects in dealing with the crisis, the overcoming of which in that case will require the engagement of more time and resources. The business entities in the country, especially the small and medium enterprises, are still in an extremely difficult situation, some are still with restrictions in performing the activity, but those who can work also face reduced consumption, canceled orders and placements,” said MCC.
