506 companies applied for zero-interest loans from the Development Bank’sthird credit line

According to the Development Bank of Macedonia, a total of EUR 5.9 million have been approved in the first group of loan applications that fulfill the requirements of the public call, i.e. loan applications of 506 companies with a total of 3,552 employees.

“These include 275 loan applications from small companies, 222 loan applications from micro companies, and 9 loan applications from sole proprietors,” the Development Bank said in a press release.The loan applications, adds the press release, are processed chronologically, as they arrive, and in line with the public call and its contents.

“Loan applications will be approved in groups, until funds are available within the Fund for micro and small sized enterprises. Bank services in the coming days will contact the companies whose loan applications have been approved to conclude a contract,” the press release reads.

This credit line is realized with financial support from the European Union via the EU4Resilience IPA Programme.
