The citizens pay for the incompetence and irresponsibility of the government with their health and their lives. Venko Filipche and Zoran Zaev, instead of providing timely vaccines for the citizens, were committed to building houses and purchasing golden utensils, reads the statement released by VMRO-DPMNE.
The party adds that that is why Macedonia ranks 5th country in the world in terms of COVID-19 mortality, and is the last country in Europe to procure vaccines.
“In conditions with over 87 thousand cases, and almost 2,700 deceased due to the epidemic, Zaev and Filipche have no choice but to procure vaccines as soon as possible. They lied to the citizens that the vaccines are about to arrive, that Bulgaria will donate some of its vaccines, that Greece will procures them for us but both Bulgaria and Greece received their vaccines, and Macedonia has not received any vaccine and it’s already mid-January,” the statement reads.
