At today’s 29th Parliamentary Session, VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition did not vote on the Law on 2021 Census of Population, Households and Dwellings.

According to VMRO-DPMNE parliamentary group coordinator Nikola Micevski, the government pushed this legal solution by force, by fast-tracking the procedures, and without public discussion and public debates. The 26 amendments submitted by VMRO-DPMNE have not been accepted, i.e. 37 of the entire opposition and the effects of this legal solution will soon be seen by the citizens, and the responsibility will be on SDSM and their coalition partners. That is why VMRO-DPMNE and the coalition will not vote for such a legal solution.
