All hopes that the Chinese vaccines will reach the end of this month have been dashed. Minister Filipche offers new excuses – the delivery says it will probably be prolonged.
“There might be a delay of several days. I don’t expect any major delay,” said Health Minister Venko Filipche.
Macedonia will now seek salvation from Russia. The authorities have already signed an agreement with the Russian manufacturer Sinopharm. The COVAX system apparently failed, and Pfizer vaccines remained trapped in bureaucratic procedures.
