Istanbul police raid criminal gang of Sedat Peker, who owns a Macedonian passport

Turkish police against organized crime raided over 120 locations linked with the criminal empire of Sedat Peker. About 63 people were detained as part of the major raid, among which is SedatPeker himself. The people were arrested under suspicion of bribery, extortion, threats, kidnapping, and grand theft.

It is reported that Sedat Peker is out of the country. Two days earlier, nine police officers in Macedonia were detained on charges of issuing fake citizenship documents. Among the people that were issued fake citizenship is Sedat Peker, CNNTurk reports.
