Prime Minister Zoran Zaev is not satisfied with what he received as a draft decision on the citizenship law from the Alliance of Albanians/Alternativaaa.
It is not what we agreed on, said Zaev Thursday and announced a new meeting with the Minister and Deputy Minister of Interior, the Minister of Agriculture to clarify and put it in parliamentary procedure. But he is confident that an agreement will be reached.
On Wednesday’s remarks by Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi that despite the leaders’ meetings, 28 laws are still blocked, Zaev said that they as a Government have made serious concessions – on the census, election legislation, the part on fingerprint voting, changes in the validity of legal solutions, such as retirement, an agreement has been reached on the law on illegal constructions and now it is the turn of the opposition.
