VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski, asked by the media during his visit to Delchevo said that after the change of government and the victory of VMRO-DPMNE in the next parliamentary elections, the “Mafia” affair will be revisited. He said that the real criminals should be brought to justice, not the people who decided to take the blame for unknown reasons.
“These people practically took the blame for others. That’s what I would call this that has been happening in recent days. I wonder how the prosecutors could have charged the people who in this case were practically arrested and brought to justice for only one article of the criminal code, namely Article 353 or abuse of office Article 353 paragraph 3 where the sentence is maximum 3 years. Having in mind that they admitted the crime, it is logical that the court will try with mitigating circumstances, instead of three, it will sentence them to two years in prison,” said Mickoski.
“At the same time, I cannot remain silent, not to mention the disappointment and anger that I feel, because nowhere have we heard of misuse of passports, nowhere have we heard of criminal association,” added Mickoski.
