Decades of Roma community’s problems will be solved with Soros’ money in the run-up to the local elections. For this purpose, 2.5 million euros have been allocated, which should be translated into two projects of vital importance for the municipality of ShutoOrizari.
Two memorandums of cooperation related to the Roma Inclusion Strategy have been signed Friday in the Government in the presence of Prime Minister ZoranZaev and deputy chair of the Open Society Foundations Alexander Soros. The project “Financial Support for the Development of Roma Entrepreneurship with Matching Fund” aims to create favorable business conditions for Roma entrepreneurs by facilitating easier access to business loans; offering coaching, business development services, and creating new jobs, formalizing Roma employment, and harnessing the Roma’s demographic dividend.
