Coronavirus infections on the rise – 74 new COVID-19 cases, 2 deceased

The country has recorded 74 new cases out of 4,582 COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours.

16 new cases were registered in Skopje, followed by Tetovo – 15, Kumanovo – 8, Gostivar – 7, Bitola – 6, Kichevo – 5, Debar – 4, Strumica – 3, Prilep – 2, Shtip – 2, SvetiNikole – 2, Ohrid – 1, Gevgelija – 1, Radovish – 1 and Berovo – 1.

17 coronavirus patients recovered and two patients, from Skopje and Kichevo, both aged over 60, passed away in the same period, the Ministry of Health said on Friday.

Since the onset of the epidemic, N. Macedonia has registered 156,299 confirmed coronavirus cases and 150,350 people have recovered. The death toll stands at 5,493. At the moment, there are 456 active cases nationwide.
