The procedure for collecting signatures of voters to run in the local elections starts Monday and ends on August 30 at midnight.
The signatures are collected in front of the SEC officials and in front of a competent notary public on a form determined by the Commission in the period from 8 am to 8 pm, and on August 30 until midnight.
The submitter of the list determines in front of which notaries public signatures will be collected and informs the SEC, which publishes on its website a list of notaries public before whom the list submitters collect signatures. The costs for collecting signatures before a notary public shall be borne by the submitter of the list. Each voter can give their signature for multiple lists of candidate for mayor. Voters submitting the list should have the right to vote and permanent residence in the municipality.
