Macedonia to take up to 780 Afghan refugees, most to be accommodated near Skopje area


A total of 780 Afghan citizens will arrive to the country. Most of the Afghans be accommodated near the Skopje area.

“The Government undertakes the obligation to provide accommodation and to take care of that many refugees, to help them to go through this period easier while they are here for the next 90 days. Regarding the hotels, it is the responsibility of international organizations to cover the costs,” said the government spokesperson.
