We cannot expect a quick solution to the Sofia issue. We need to be prepared for the Bulgarian red lines. The future Bulgarian government will still be under great pressure from the EU and the United States, said the special envoy in the negotiations with Bulgaria VladoBuchkovski in an interview with VOA.

“It is obvious that they are now tactical with the third term won by the Bulgarian Socialist Party and it is certain that they too cannot form a political government. This means that in November there will be regular presidential elections and these third elections that are repeated. This means that by the end of November, the beginning of December, we will not have an interlocutor on the other side. So we will have to wait until December,” says Buchkovski.
