Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi said that the Government is considering freezing the prices of rice and eggs with the inflation wave that is already being felt in the country.
Minister Bekteshi said the decision means that the prices of bread, sugar, flour, cooling oil, milk, fresh meat and meat products, cheese will be sold at the prices as of December 1, whereas the list could be enlarged if necessary.
The prices of the basic food products will be frozen until 31 January 2022 and the decision could be extended if required.
