ESM will sell the produced electricity for 41 euros instead of the current 36.1 euros per megawatt hour (mwh).
ESM will offer 100 percent of the consumption for households in the new fifth tender in a row at EVN Home, and the authorities have not yet officially announced the price of 41 euros to the public.
The decision was made at a closed government session on Tuesday.
After the offer, the price for the households will start to be formed, and the authorities claim that the increase of the bills will be at most 10%. The new price will have to include the requests of the traders for their reported losses which will be reviewed by the REC.
