As of Friday, about 260 thousand students in primary and secondary schools are on a three-week winter break, which will last until January 19. According to the calendar of the Ministry of Education and Science for the organization of teaching, the children should return to their school desks on January 20 and continue the 2021/2022 school year.
Moving the winter break or postponing the beginning of the second half is not planned for now because, according to the authorities, the COVID-19 situation is still stable, although the Omicron strain has been confirmed in the country, and according to experts this variant is spreading faster.
