The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it regularly monitors the situation in Kazakhstan and that through the embassy in Nur-Sultan it is in constant communication with our citizens who are in the country.
“Despite the frequent interruptions of the Internet and telecommunication networks, there is still regular contact with our citizens, who are in safe locations. So far, only two of our citizens have addressed the embassy due to minor needs, whose request was answered immediately, but none of the mentioned is in a threatened situation,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the recommendations addressed to the citizens of the Republic of Macedonia not to travel to Kazakhstan, and those who are currently in the country not to leave the facilities where they are accommodated, remain in force.
