Apartment prices in the first quarter of this year increased by 12.4 percent annually, and quarterly by 2.9 percent, according to data from the National Bank. In the first quarter of last year, apartment prices increased by 3.2 percent, in the second by 4.1 percent, in the third by 5.8 percent, and in the fourth by 11.2 percent.
The report of the National Bank on the monetary movements in March this year shows that the approved housing loans to individuals registered a monthly growth of 1.5 percent, with an annual growth of 15.8 percent.
Out of the total of 250 building permits issued in March this year, 138 are intended for apartment buildings.
