Greek Foreign Minister Niko Dendias said that the European Union accession talks with N. Macedonia and Albania should start immediately, at a joint press conference with Macedonian counterpart Bujar Osmani in Skopje on Thursday.
Dendias says the only way to achieve peace, security and stability in the region is with clear and full support for the European perspective of the Western Balkans.
“We consider ourselves your close ally, we will make appropriate efforts to improve relations between our countries at the bilateral level and this is supported by the Action Plan adopted by the first Supreme Cooperation Council,” said Dendias, and announced that he has great interest from a Greek company to invest in North Macedonia in a power station worth 200 million euros.
