BEG loses licenses, Skopje residents will have central heating

A main session was held at which the ERC decided to terminate the license for performing energy activity, production of thermal energy of the company BEG, informed the President of the Regulatory Marko Bislimovski on Monday.

Bislimovski announced that the ERC will inform the Government, which, in turn, is obliged to organize a public call at which a new operator will be selected to perform heat production. Bislimovski expects the deadlines for choosing a new company to be short.

The ERC head explained that the citizens of Skopje will not be left without central heating.
