This year’s wheat production is about 250,000 tons, which will satisfy 80 percent of the needs, says the Macedonian Minister of Economy Kreshnik Bekteshi.
“On Monday and Tuesday we have work meetings in Tirana. We want the countries of the Open Balkans to jointly solve the problems with food and electricity. Each country will share data, be it on agricultural products or electricity. This means that although we now have a ban on the export of wheat and flour, if we can, if another country from the Open Balkans needs it, we will export it. It will also be about electricity. The data will be updated on a weekly basis,” said Bekteshi.
