With 60 thousand vaccines against seasonal flu, all age groups that are the target of the Ministry of Health will be covered, said the Macedonian Health Minister Bekim Sali.
“For the first time in several years, we have a timely supply of seasonal flu vaccines. We have about 40,000 vaccines procured by the Ministry of Health and 20,000 are donations from the Partnership for Influenza Vaccine Introduction (PIVI). This year, we continue with the dynamics from last year, with 60 thousand vaccines, all age groups that are the target of the Ministry of Health every year will be covered. We are talking about patients over 65 years old, pregnant women, children up to six years of age, patients with chronic diseases,” said Minister Sali, asked by the media during his visit to the University Institute of Radiology – Skopje, where a new state-of-the-art angiographic system for interventional radiological procedures was put into use.
