At Sunday’s session, the Government adopted a new set of anti-crisis measures worth 350 million euros to deal with the energy crisis. At a press conference, Macedonian Prime Minister DimitarKovachevskistressed that some of the measures cover the socially vulnerable categories of citizens, the unemployed and pensioners with low incomes. According to the plan, about 42 thousand citizens will receive 3 thousand denars each in the next four months.
“These include persons exercising the right to social security, persons exercising the right to disability, parents of children with disabilities up to the age of 26, persons with more severe permanent changes in their health condition, single parents as well as the unemployed. Over 8 million euros have been set aside for this measure,” Kovachevski said.
