In the Central Registry of Bulgaria it is written that the Civil Society for the Protection of Basic Individual Human Rights, the organization that opened the club “Nikola Vapcarov” in Blagoevgrad, is “in liquidation”.
Only now, three years after the Bulgarian Prosecutor’s Office initiated a process against the organization registered in 2019, the case is receiving a legal resolution that could mean the closure of the “Nikola Vapcarov” club, which was solemnly opened yesterday.
The decision is valid from the first half of this month, and the basis is a case opened by the public prosecutor’s office in Blagoevgrad claiming that the goals of the Civil Society for the Protection of Basic Individual Human Rights, registered in 2019, are contrary to the Bulgarian Constitution and laws.
