Starting April 23, 2023, the German airline Lufthansa enters the Macedonian aviation market with the start of flights on the route Frankfurt – Skopje, TAV Macedonia announced on Wednesday.
Lufthansa will connect the Macedonian capital with the main airport in Frankfurt by offering flights from Skopje International Airport every day of the week, and on some days it will fly two flights a week, with aircraft of the type: Airbus 319, Airbus A320 and Airbus A321.
Frankfurt Airport is the main German aviation headquarters and one of the most important transfer airports in Europe.
